About us

We are a family run business offering home from home care for your small pets and home visits locally to feed, check on and care for your cats. Because we only take in a few boarders at a time we can give each proper care and attention.

We have over 30 years experience in owning and caring for a range of pets and Jacqui holds an equine qualification in stable management and has experience looking after both farm and domestic animals. We have full pet insurance (Clivedens) and are CRB checked.

Why pet boarding?

Animal mad since I could talk, it was inevitable I would end up working with furries. Mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, cat, aylesbury ducks, goats, ponies, budgies and a talkative minor bird, I had a menagerie growing up! A love of horses led to me qualifying as a groom in my late teens and working with horses, poultry and calves, every animal - mad girls dream job. Caring has been a lifelong career choice and having qualified as an Occupational Therapist, many years working in mental and physical health led to a career move into complementary therapy and becoming self employed. An opportunity to establish my own pet boarding and visiting business arose in 2011 and I haven’t looked back since. Working from home, my family are now fully involved in the care of our furry guests and many become much loved, extended, furry, family members.

Our Pet Accommodation is in our fully insulated, heated, Pet Building. We aim to stay small, to be able to offer the personal touch and put all our furry boarders needs first. Animal welfare is at the forefront of our business and we will do everything in your pets best interest. We are members of the Rabbit Welfare Association.
